Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. She managed to make it on her student stipend as she worked part-time. Lennox decided to change her path in life after she became dissatisfied by her inexperience in comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox began her career in the year 1976 as a member of a band called Dragons Playground. The group broke up prior to their appearance on I.T.V's talent show New Faces. She sang lead to The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992. This was her first solo album. In both commercial terms and critically the album was a massive success. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's most loved soul, jazz and blues songs of her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. is a companion piece to her art installation in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now, I'll let You go... It's the first time she has released an independent album.
